VexSpark™ now speaks more naturally by using the best available browser voice, warmer wording, smaller speech chunks, gentle pauses, and Stop, Replay and Continue controls.

The Child App and the Take Home Child App use the same child learning-buddy voice profile, so VexSpark™ sounds like it is learning with the child: “we”, “let’s”, “together” and “try again” are used instead of command-style speech.

Browser voices vary by device, so SafeSpark™ does not pretend every browser can provide a real child voice. The system improves the human feel through wording, pacing, pitch, rate and role-aware speech behaviour.
