DSL / Safeguarding Lead support overview.
This page helps authorised staff review private support signals and sensitive-topic sessions. It does not make safeguarding decisions. Follow the school safeguarding policy.
Important boundary
Support signal, not a diagnosis
SafeSpark can show when pupils ask for help, feel unsure or request simpler wording inside the App. Those are classroom support signals only. Any safeguarding concern must be handled by trained staff using school policy.

Suggested safeguarding-aware actions

- Keep discussion general for sensitive lessons.
- Record only what is necessary and proportionate.
