Functional MVP status
Status A - Working now ten linked role environments, lesson and confidence flows, controlled file export/import, checksum validation, approval, duplicate prevention, QR generation and manual multi-part import, local audit and reversible school-workflow demonstrations.
Status B - Functional prototype installed/cold-offline device acceptance, real-device IndexedDB restart persistence, camera QR scanning, Web Bluetooth, Web NFC, delayed share queue and PIN-protected packages pending device or independent security validation.
Status C - Planned school production configuration, independent security/safeguarding review, formal DPIA, verified device estate and measured pilot outcomes.
Offline-first architecture
Service-worker App shell, IndexedDB implementation, downloaded lessons, local progress, pending packages and clear offline state. Cold-restart acceptance remains a deployed-device test.
Test Take-Home AppControlled handover
QR, JSON export/import, checksum, optional encryption, preview, approval, duplicate prevention, audit, retry and device capability detection.

Correct public consultation evidence
81 parents + 25 children = 106 participants
4P3X SafeSpark™ was informed by an anonymous founder-led feedback and consultation survey conducted on Paignton seafront involving 106 participants: 81 parents and 25 children.
No names, contact details or identifying information were collected because children were involved and the survey was intentionally anonymous.
The consultation helped shape priorities around accessibility, safeguarding, offline learning, home-to-school communication and support for pupils with different learning needs.
Classification: Anonymous formative feedback and consultation. It is not formal independent research, a controlled product trial or a completed school pilot.

Founder and 4P3X AI™ story
4P3X SafeSpark™ began under unusually constrained circumstances. Founder Ciaran Kelly had no prior formal background in software development, EdTech or product engineering, no conventional technical team, no external funding and initially only a basic smartphone to work with.
Those limitations led to the creation of 4P3X AI™, an intelligent creation and orchestration system designed to identify the skills and knowledge required for a project, organise research, support architecture, assist development, test features, identify faults and improve builds through repeated iteration.
SafeSpark™ became one of the clearest demonstrations of that approach: one self-taught founder using intelligent technology to progress from an education idea to a functional multi-role platform.
Current limitations
- No completed production school deployment
- No formal independent safeguarding certification
- No completed DPIA or penetration test supplied
- Bluetooth and NFC depend on browser, device and compatible hardware
- No measured educational outcome or staff-time study yet
Next-stage pilot plan
- Independent safeguarding, privacy and technical review
- Controlled school configuration and consent
- Device/browser matrix testing
- Measured task completion, reliability and staff-workflow study
- Pre-agreed learning and communication measures
